Description

EJB Series flameproof connection boxes are suitable for installations in areas where there are risks of explosion and also at places where dust or combustible gases are present. 
They are classified for Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22. IP66 degree of protection. Available in aluminum or stainless steel AISI 316L (EJBX Series).

  • They are classified for zones 1, 2, 21 and 22.
  • The control and signaling units are mounted and fastened to the lid as indicated on the respective drawings.
  • The combinations shall be compatible with the dimensions and characteristics of the units.
  • Material: aluminum light alloy.
  • Painting epoxy RAL 7000.
  • Internal anti-condense painting RAL 2004.
  • External screws in stainless steel.
  • Internal plate material: zinc plated steel.
  • Fixing brackets type “A” and type “B” in zinc plated steel.

Enclosures are made to be installed in areas classified Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22, where there is danger of explosion and/or fire or the presence of  combustible dusts.
They are manufactured with a specific aluminum alloy, and they stand out because of their mechanical characteristics in the surface finish.
